Get Ready with Me | Awards Edition

Cooee,

So yesterday , if you are reading this Monday, I was lucky enough to get tickets for the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards for me and my friends. It was an amazing concert and the teen heros were amazing inspirations. Also Justin Bieber performed as a surprise which no one saw coming.

Before I start, I would like to say sorry for the quality of the photo as I was planning this post and I planned to get my friends to take outfit photos for me and I totally forgot.

So thats my little get ready with me for the concert. I didn't go out too much with my outfit and makeup as I have been before so I know how hot it gets and how much you jump around to the artists. I had an amazing time and I recommend getting tickets as they are cheaper for the amount of artists that you get to see.

Clean faced | Get UN Ready With Me

Cooee,

So as the title suggests, I will be showing you how I take me make up off instead of putting on as I usually do. I have normal to combination skin and I get the old couple of blemishes every now and then.

Here is a picture of my everyday makeup which I wear to school (If you would like a get ready with me - school edition comment below).

This is the makeup that I will be removing with the following products;

Clinique Cleansing Wash *LINK*
Boots Face Wash with Active Charcoal (Highly Recommend) *LINK*
Nivea Cleanser *LINK*
Simple Facial Toner *LINK*
Benefit Tripe Moisture Cream ( Good for spot-pron skin) *LINK*
Simple Eye Gel *LINK*
Lip Balm *LINK*

And here is the finished result;

I believe that I have found a good balance of products which work best for my skin.

Let me know some of the best products you use for your skin as I'm willing to try some new possible.

Wedding Edition | GRWM

Cooee,
I recently went to a wedding so I thought that I would show my hair, outfit and makeup for the day. I was attending the wedding all day so my hair and makeup had to last which it did, although that might be due to the amount of hairspray I had in my hair.
The day was beautiful and the bride looked stunning. It was at a local venue to me which was beautiful and the weather made it all better.
So I started with my hair, I curled my hair and then pinned it so that the curl would cool before I took them out. By doing it this way, the curl will last longer as it has cooled as a curl rather than cooling and falling out. Then I pulled all my hair around to one side and then clipped it. It wasn't the look I wanted but it worked with my outfit.
My make up had to last all day as well as not looking too cakey. (I know its a lot of makeup) I used a mix of the high end and drug store. I have listed my makeup as its easier than doing it step by step;

Smashbox Primer
Benefit Primer
MAC Studio Fix Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Smashbox Brow Shadows
Benefit Gimme Brow
Rimmel Eye Shadow Primer
MAC Amber Lights (All over the lid) (Great for blue eyes)
Makeup Revolution Palette- Darkest Pink Shade In crease (The dupe for Urban Decay)
MAC Quarry (On the outer Corner)
Individual Lashes (Don't known Brand)
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Benefit Holla Bronzer
Nars Highlight
MAC Studio Fix Powder
Younique Pouty Lip Liner
Benefit Benetint
MA Crème Cup

The outfit was from a brand called Little Mistress and I had a nightmare getting this dress! Everytime I went to order it my size went out of stock. I probably needed the size below but with the amount of trouble it took to get this dress, I didn't want to risk it.

The shoes and bag are both from Kurt Geiger. The shoes were so comfortable and I stay in them right up until the last hour when I needed to change into some flat so that I could dance with family.

So that's my wedding get ready with me, I hope you liked it! Are you going to a wedding? Let me know

Lunch with the Girls | Get Ready With Me

Cooee,

When what was meant to a rather large group of people turned out to be four people. We ,being my group of friends, were meant to go bowling and out for a late lunch to catch up as we all go to different schools.

So I thought that I would go a get ready with me since I haven't done one in a while. My friends were going casual but I find that their casual is rather dressy and they always look lovely. So decided to make abit more effort with my outfit and makeup. Also I was going out later on in the day to go out  to see MockingJay part 1 which was really good. It was tense and had me at the edge of my sit a couple of times.

Makeup;
MAC studio fix NC15
MAC studio fix powder NW20(?)
Avon eyebrow pencil
Technic Shimmer Eye shadow
17 Wild Mascara
Topshop deep red lip liner ( no name)
Collection Little Mix Perrie Lipstick ( Purple)
Benefit Holla Bronzer
Avon Makeup Setting spray

Outfit;
Cut out boots ( unknown shop)
Thick black Tights

Here are some pictures from the day - we didn't go bowling and just went for food. It was lovely to go out plus the food was really nice. In the pictures are Zoe, Georgia ( Recently done a blog post HERE) and Rachael.

Hope you liked this little GRWM.

Get Ready With Me Benefit Style (plus Reviews)

Cooee,

Well I thought that since I was going out that a get ready with me was needed. I wanted to write a review on the benefit makeup kit that I brought a couple of weeks ago so I thought that I could combine them.

Firstly I done my hair in soft curls. I will link a tutorial that I used --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2gqplh4yi0&list=UUrIIH7yHQugaUuoTZDoEUuQ  (Tanya Burr)

I used the Remington Wand with has different setting. I used 190 temperature. I ,also, used L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray which was amazing and the curls lasted all night and the next day.

I used a benefit Triple Performance Facial Emulsion first- I love this product for my skin it's light and helps my skin feel fresh.

The Benefit kit I used was How To Look The Best At Everything in Medium. Overall opinion , I lovely the packaging and inside the box it had step by step instructions on how to apply and it comes with a mirror.

I have a sample of this by I have not used it yet. Firstly, it said to used the porefessional first. I love this product and I found that it helped my makeup look flawless. The shade was perfect for my skin especially since I'm a little pale at the moment ( Fake tan is at the ready )

I put this over my nose , under my eyes and any dry skin that I found.

Then I used Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation. WOW WOW WOW is all I can say. I love this foundation and its a strong contender for my prom foundation as I'm testing different products at the moment. It makes your skin look so flawless and natural. This shade was perfect.

 The next step was to conceal , it was the benefit boi-ing. The kit came wit two different shades and it said to mix to get correct shade. I mainly used the light shade. I personally it did not like this maybe because I used my ring finger (lightest finger) to apply next time I will used a brush.

The kit did not come with any eye shades or eye brow so I used MAC Charcoal Brown on my eyebrows. I wanted simple eyes so I skipped any eye shadows.

Sadly the kit did not come with Benefit mascara ... well it did come with a free There Real but I cant find it any where , I have searched but no luck so far. I did though use Bare Minerals Lash Domination which is just as good.

I lined my bottom water eye with my new Rimmel London Scandaleyes in Black.

To powder , the kit come with a powder called I'm cute as a bunny Honey. I did not used the brush it came with but my own Avon brush which I use all the time. The powder really finished the look and it set everything. I skipped blush because I felt that the look was pretty much finished.

For my lips , I used MAC Crème cup which is a pinky toned lipstick.

So that the finished look.

 I skipped the outfit. I wore a QUIZ skater dress with thick black tights and out cut boots.

Nails, I used Rimmel London Blue Eyed Girl and a white nail pen to do a swirly design. ( Sorry about the poor skin around the nail)

So that's it , hope you liked this as it was a bit of a combination.
