Cooee,
I am a massive fan of both strobing and contouring! Superdrug brought a new brand to their website and I decided to purchase their contour palette and this came with a brush - all for only £10! LINK
The palette comes with three different shades of contour ( light to dark). The shades I would prefer to have more of a grey- ash undertone to make them suit my skin colour better. I find I mix light and medium to get my perfect shade and it works well as a mixture of a contour and bronze shade.
The top line is a mixture of a white powder shimmer , a banana like powder and cream powder. The white highlight like shade is too light to be a highlight for my skin tone however works well mixed with a liquid highlight. The banana like powder , I often use to set my concealer and I don't really use the cream coloured powder.
The brush is very thin and when ever I use it to contour especially, I have to use another brush to blend as it creates a straight line and I have found that you cant blend with it.
Overall, I like the palette and I feel that it is good for the price compared to the ABH palette. I have heard good things from the brand itself and I really want to try their strobing cream. The palette does come in cream form also.

Red Collection
Cooee,
Its been a long time , hasn't it? My last post was February and its now the last day of June! I decided to take time off to focus on my last exams. But I now have the entire summer to myself with no commitments so I have decided to take some time to blog!
So I have been obsessed with buying lipsticks and I thought that I would show my existing red lip collection!
I have been loving a red lip especially for nights out with friends or either prom which I had recently. I feel that a red bold lip helps bring an outfit together and works well with a simple eye look also! My tip would be to ALWAYS use a lip liner to get a sharp line and I like to conceal around the top lip also.
So that's my red lip collection not including an mini lipsticks or liquid as I wish to write a separate post

A Winter Essential
Cooee,
So I have been super busy with school and university that blogging has not been able to fit in. Where I have been stressed and worried about deadlines and interviews , my body has been taking the fall for it.
I'm tired all the time and the weather at the moment is so cold which is never a positive. But today's post is all about a little cheap product which at the minute is a life saver.
Its Superdrug's own Lip and Cold Sore Cream.
A while ago, my lips which incredible sore and i had beeen trying all the best known product ranging from remedies to the expensive lip balms. BUt this was the only product which helped them and I have found myself going back to it every time and during the winter it has become a vital part of my night routine.
At the minute, my lips are so sore and I thought that why not write a recommendation post. LIke it says on the packaging it's for cold sores and dry cracked lips. I use it for the latter but it does really work.
The product is super cheap and I have found that it works within a day or two. It has a thick consistance but thins out once applied to your lips. Also its great hand bag size.
Its an essential for me especially at the minute as my lips are so dry.
Let me know what products you use for when you have dry chapped lips or if you have even tried this product.

Review | Forever Living
Cooee,
So if you saw my last post *HERE* then you will be expecting this post. If not and you are new then last week I wrote a First Impressions on some products given to me by an ambassador of the company, Forever Living.
This week, I am writing a review on some different products from the same company. I have been trailing these products for about a week so I understand my opinion isn't based on a long term trail but it will give a basic idea of each product.
Aloe Nourishing Serum
Product- Its quite a think toner which has a creamy feel to it. Three pumps every morning and night is recommended.
View- I love this product! Its like a drink for your skin! It makes your skin feel so soft and three pumps is needed as your skin drinks it up so fast. After applying, I found that the product would work great as a primer before your makeup as it really does smooth out your skin!
Rehydrating Toner
Product- It acts like any other toner and it works well along side the cleaner. Place the toner on a cotton pad and in circular motions, move around face until all makeup is removed.
View- I found that the smell of the product put me off and I found that it didn't remove my makeup or make my skin fell clean as well as my other toners. Overall, this is not my favourite but I love the lid of the bottle as it makes the product less messy.
Aloe Cleaner
Product- A creamy texture and follow the same instructions as the toner.
View- The smell is better than the toner and I found that there was quite a lot of product left on my face after using it- even with using a clean cotton pad to remove again. Its quite thick and I think that why.
Aloe Jojoba Shampoo
Product- its quite simple- You use this like any other shampoo
View- My mum tried this product and she loved it! My mum has shoulder length hair which she straightens everyday and since using this she doesn't have too. This is a big positive in my mum's book. You don't need a lot apparently which means that the bottle would be worth the money. She loves the conditioner also.
So that's it! My little reviewing collection of Forever Living. So far I have been loving the products and I cant wait to try some more in the future. Let me know that if you have tried Forever Living and the products you have!

First Impressions
Cooee,
So I have been working with the brand Forever Living *LINK* whose an ambassador , a friend of my mum, asked me to try some of their products. As I was given so many to try , I thought I would start with a first expressions and my opinion after one try then next week how the products worked and whether I truly liked them. Before I start, I want to make sure that it is clear that all opinions are my own and this is not an ad.
The brand is one of the biggest providers of products containing Aloe Vera. They use this due to its benefits to your skin as well as it being completely natural.
Aloe Scrub
The product description- Gentle exfoliating scrub which can be used daily and is gentle enough for use on the face. When applied, you should use your fingertips and apply in circular motions for 2-3 minutes.
Product- It has very fine exfoliating beads (?) which I feel make it less harsh on the skin. I followed the instructions on the side of the packaging, however, I feel that the recommended time of 2-3 minutes is a little far fetched especially if someone was in a rush in the morning. My skin did softer after using the product and as a whole, I would recommend this especially for people who feel that the exfoliators which harsher exfoliating beads are too harsh for their skin.
Aloe Moisturizing Lotion
The product description- Thick and creamy moisturiser. Great for very dry skin as a primer for makeup and used along side the hand and face soap ( a product sold by the company) to combat spots and any other blemishes.
Product- This product does what it says on the tin , it great for dry skin especially during these harsh winter months when my skin usually is very dry. I decided to test it on this own instead of under my foundation. But I will add a comment if it works as a primer in next weeks post. The crème is very thick however, it does get absorbed by the skin very quickly. Its great for on the go!
Tooth Gel
The product description- Fluoride free tooth gel contains Aloe which is a natural antiseptic and whitener. Great for healthy teeth and gums
Product- As you can see from the picture, its bright green however, I must say after two uses my teeth do feel cleaner and I can feel the freshness all day. Its quite a powerful minty scent and flavour and apparently its great for children too! I will like for the moisturiser add a comment next week for how I feel about the whitening statement.
Marine Mask
The product description- Clay type mask to be used once or twice a week to cleanse face and help tor educe appearance of pores and blackheads.
Product- I applied the mask and it was quite thick yet when i started to apply it turned very thin and clear. You couldn't see the mask on the skin. It recommends to keep the mask on for 15-20 and I followed this. However, sadly my skin had a bad reaction so i feel it is un fair to make any other comments. I loved the product however, my skin didn't.
So there are 4 different first impressions of Forever Living and so far I'm loving the different variety of products to chose from. Next week, there will be different products from the same brand however, how I feel about them after trying them for a week.
Let me know if you have heard or even tried the products yourself?

L'Oreal Infallible Foundation | Review
Cooee,
I have been trailing this foundation for about a week or two now and I thought that it was about time that I wrote a review.
First Impressions
I love the packaging and the size of bottle. I also love the pump that it comes with.
The shade choice was good , however, at the stand that I went to didn't have many shades to chose from. But luckily I found what I thought was my shade.
The Shade
My shade is Vanilla and that's usually what I am in foundations normally. The shade is quite yellow toned which is perfect for my skin. I would say that looking at the range of shades that it has more yellow tones so that's something to keep in mind.
Application
You can see the brush I use in the picture, Its more of a blending brush. Its quite a thick foundation and it has a heavy coverage - maybe its too heavy for my everyday which I have been using it for. However, I think that's why it has it's 24 hour promise ( I haven't tried this yet).
I found blending it to be quite hard due to its thickness, I think that it would take some time to achieve the perfect blended finish.
Finish
The two pictures above are a comparison of my normal every day and this one.
I found that the shade was perfect for me , however, it turns quite orange once I have finished my makeup. I think this would work better with a tan and for a night out when I can take my time applying.
The thickness puts me off from wearing it everyday but for a foundation for going out, its perfect.
Let me know if you have the foundation and what your opinions are!

Melon Pop| Review
Cooee,
So when I found out that Clinique were releasing new lipsticks I was more than excited. I have been looking for a new brand to try for lipsticks and this was the perfect chance.
I have the shade Melon Pop 05. I thought I would review it as I know lots of people have been talking about the new release.
First Thoughts
Packaging?
I love the packaging- its simple which I like as it doesn't take away the beautiful colour. Also I love that it is square too as it fits perfectly in my lipstick holder.
Price?
I got mine for £16 which I think it ok for what it is. Personally, I was prepared to price a bit extra as I knew it was the right colour I wanted. But MUA ( which can be found in Superdrug) do a lipstick called Peachy Keen for £1 which is similar but is a matte rather than a sheen.
Colour?
The colour is a peach-y , coral colour which I have been looking for. Its a sheen but has amazing pigment.
First Impressions
True Colour?
Yes, I would say that its the colour which I thought it would be. I think it a great everyday shade but its very buildable so can be made into a matte looking lipstick.
Finish?
Like I have said previously, its a sheen which makes the colour have a shiny to it. I like this as I don't really own a sheer looking lipstick which I could wear everyday. I have been wearing it with day and night makeup so its a multi use lipstick. Oh and it looks great over Rimmel London East end Snob lip liner.
The rest of the range?
The Clinique team (not that I know them!) have done a great job with the colour choice , however, when looking for Melon Pop , I found out that they haven't released all the colours so I would double check if you can which ones are available. But I would be more than happy to buy additional shades after buying this one
Let me know if you want or have any of the colour pop range and what you think of it

B. Pure Micellar Water | Review
Cooee,
So recently I have been taking off my everyday makeup using *B. Pure Micellar Water* . The reason I wanted to write a review on this product is because firstly I have never used this brand before and because I want to see if you have tried it and agree with my opinions.
I would class my skin as normal as I rarely experience dryness nor oiliness. I brought this product after hearing positive things about the idea of using Micellar water.

First Opinions;
I like how you can see how much is in the bottle which some bottles don't know. Its affordable and I was excited to try this new brand. I've seen the brand's makeup in Superdrug (where it can be found) but I hadn't seen much of their skin care products. It doesnt have a smell to me either.

How it works?
It removes makeup basically. I put a small amount on a small cotton pad and wipe my makeup off. There's not much to it but whats good about this product is that it doesn't need to be washed off like my Avon water.
Did it work?
Yes! it does , however only on face makeup. It hasn't removed my mascara and I haven't been using waterproof. Its also nice on the skin and doesn't feel heavy nor leave a wetness to the skin after, which is why it doesn't need washing off.
Problems?
Apart from any issues that I have stated previous, I have been experiencing some angry spots. These blemishes could be due to exam stress ( The exam season has started for me) or school in general. So I'm willing to carry on trying it to get a true opinion.
Let me know your opinions on using Micellar Water in general or if you have tried this brand before.

Benefit Balms/Tint Reviews
So like I promised a review of the Benefit balms. I did get them as a set, however, it was for Christmas so I don't know if they would still be sold as a set.
Bene Balm
This is very similar to Baby Lips Cherry. It's formula is very smooth and is very sheer. It's nice not only on its own but also over the tints and lip pencils such as No7- I'm not sure of the shade but it's a pink/red colour.
Loli Balm
I love this balm, it's such an easy shade to wear for every day. Again it's very sheer with a smooth formula. I have been getting quite dry lips during these cold winter months but I have found that by wearing these balms my lips stay moistured all day long.
Bene Tint

Lip |
I love wearing this on their own and under lipsticks. If you find that wearing a sheer lipsticks is too sheer for you after you brought it then I would recommend have a tint underneath to boast the colour. I found applying this quite weird as it's quite a wet formula but dries instantly. The finished look is very matte in my opinion.

BodyShop Lip & Cheek Doll Special Edition REVIEW
Cooee,
So my mum brought two of these from the body shop for her friends but she doesn't think that they would like them so she said about my friends for Christmas. ( I know my friends read this and sadly this is not a clue as to what your getting!) I already have my friends presents sorted and all I need to do the buy them. (Post coming soon!!!)
I tried one of the stains and I love it. It gives a natural look to your lips and doesn't make your lips look covered in lipgloss or lipstick. If you don't like the feel of either than I would recommend a lip stain.
This is special edition for this Christmas so I would grab it fast. £10 is reasonable so the product I think as you don't use a lot and its buildable if you want a stronger red. Sadly they don't come in different colours but Body Shop if you want to do that , that's perfectly fine with me!
I love the cute bottle and I love the doll look. The brush is sponge like ( and I know the name but I cant for the life of me remember what it is even with the helping hand that is Google!) and makes applying the product easy. It applies smoothly and is very moisturising to the lips.
When reading about how to apply to the cheeks, it says "Apply a small amount of our
Lip & Cheek doll to the apples of your cheeks BEFORE your base". When I tried this , it was easy to blend and gave a natural blush look. It was not too strong and is easier buildable.

I hope you liked this little review as I really liked this product.

False Lash Mascara | Product Wars
Cooee,
So I thought about doing a review on the Max factor false Lash effect mascara but when I tried it I thought it was like Benefit They're Real Mascara. I know I have done a review on it before but I wanted to compare it with a really good high street version. So let's start product wars...
My benefit Mascra is the sample size as it came as an extra with a makeup box I brought from Benefit. I love this mascara and the wow factor it gives to your eyes. It gives everything you need and want from a Mascara. The price is a bit on the expensive side but I would say along with many others that it's worth it completely.
Wand- The brush has two parts, one for the top lashes and one for the bottom. The top lash part has lots of individual plastic brushes this makes sure that all lashes are coated. The bottom part is at the end of the wand which making applying the Mascra to the bottom lashes simpler.
Staying power- The staying power for the product is amazing and it does not move at all. If you didn't have time to change your makeup from day to night then this product would make you look like you to more effort into your eye make up even though you had no time.
Removing- this product is known for not removing easily which is why Benefit brought out a remover. I have the remover but as a sample size and I wanted to save that for the liner. So I have found a remover which works, it's oil based. I think that with any oil based makeup remover would work.
Finish- the finish of this mascara is full lash and by that I mean did extends your lashes and makes them look fuller.
In comparison , Max Factor's Fasle lash effect has the same qualities. It's not only cheap but works just as well. I have the colour black/brown as mine came with a collection of products. I would say that it does the same as the benefit mascara , adding thickness and volume. As it says on the label, it gives a natural looking finish.
Wand- the wand is plastic and very thick compared to the Benefit one. It does not have a part for the bottom lashes and the part which coats your lashes are very short but makes your lashes look amazing.
Staying power- The mascara is the waterproof version so the staying power is truly amazing.
Removing - I think that the mascara is harder to remove than the benefit but that's my personal opinion. I use the same products and oil based remover but I feel that it needs more elbow grease to remove it.
Finish- The finish makes your lashes look thicker as well as adding volume to them. It gives a natural finish to your lashes
Overall- ****
I can't decide which one I prefer and that's why I give them the same overall stars as they both have positives and negatives. Let me know which one you like.

Benefit They're Real Mascara Review
Cooee,
If you were to look into my eye makeup draw then you would be faced with many mascara's which will all promise to do different things either adding volume or extending your lashes x3. Personally, I don't think that they really work as well as they say which is why I have so many. However, the benefit they're real mascara works amazingly , I understand that it is quite expensive compared to other highstreet brands but I believe its worth the money.
Well everyone has been loving benefit makeup especially their eye make up. The biggest hype has been the new eye liner which has gotten so many reviews lately. I have got the new liner but I have yet to use it as I don't very wear eyeliner that much. But I will let you know when I do :)
I thought that I would review the They're Real mascara which I have been loving to add that little bit more wow factor to my eye make up. I got mine as a freebee which my benefit order , it was a sample size which I have heard to be better than the normal size but when mine runs out I will defiantly be repurchasing it.
Compared to my other everyday mascara , it adds volume and makes lashed look longer and fuller. As you can see from the picture below , you can see the difference between a normal mascara (MUA) and benefit.
The brush kind of has two parts, one which you do your top lashes with. TIP; When applying mascara use zip zagging motions to add extra volume and length. The second part of the wand is for the bottom lashes , at the end you can see a ball ( sort of) size bit which you can coat your bottom lashes. The wand makes sure that you coat every one of your lashes. Sometimes If I want to make more of a flick at the end of my eye , I will use the bottom lashes bit to pull them out.
I believe that if you are getting sick of everyday boring highstreet mascaras then I would recommend benefit. Don't let the fact that its kind to remover as I have you covered but so has benefit. They have brought out a special remover which removes both the new liner and the mascara. I use Derma V10 which works so well and was so cheap. I use it as a part of my night routine to remover eye make up ( Well done Gee!). I got mine from Savers and I'm not sure where else sells it.
I hope that this has helped help your decision if you think you would like it or not.

BB Cream Wars | Product Wars
Cooee,
With the weather being quite weird with either storms or heat waves, I needed a light cream or foundation and I felt like with my foundations weren't really doing that. I have a mid tan which is when my tan is slowly disappearing but is still there. My foundations are either for my tan skin (fake and real) or my normal skin colour. You may be thinking just fake tan well the true is that I cant really be bothered.
So when I was scrolling twitter , I had a sponsored tweet come up saying about BB Cream. I had heard and seen BB cream but never thought that I would really used it but when I had a look into it , it sounded perfect for this weather.
I went into Superdrug and was looking at Rimmel. They have a BB Cream which is Matte so I thought that was perfect. It was on special for £4 instead of £7 ( I think). When I was looking a lady was looking to and over heard me and my nan talking about it and mentioned about another cream she had used. It was Nivea tinted moisturising day cream , which was also on special for under £2 so I thought I would try both.
NIVEA- Tinted Moisturising Day Cream SPF 8
Shade- They only have one shade. Its slightly darker than my normal shade but I only put a small amount on.
Applying the Product- You only need a small amount and I use my fingers to apply on to my skin. If I feel it needs buffing into my skin then I will use a foundation brush. The coverage is okay not the best.
Finish - I love the finish, its more dewy. It creates a smooth finish so that you can add powder to it. Its light weight on the skin too.
OVERALL- **** ( 4 stars)
I think if there was shade options then it would be better.
RIMMEL- BB Cream SPF15
Shade- They have shades ranging from "very light " to "dark". I have light but I think I would have suited very light. However, I don't have "very light" skin when I'm buying foundation.
Applying the Product- Well I first applied one coat using my fingers and coverage was not the best so I applied more. I had to use a brush over this as I thought it would help the product more. But no which leads on to the finish.
OVERALL- *** (3 Stars)
Finish- The promise that it finish would be matte was given but it was very orange looking so I wiped off as much as possible and used my brush to blend the product which seemed to do the trick.
I think the shade chart is interesting to say the least and its finish is nice but can look orange and patch due to it coverage. Also the product promises a lot and I'm not sure
So that's the very first ( I believe) of Product Wars and I hope that you liked it :)

All About The Eyes Review
Well so I noticed that Little Mix were bring out a new eye palette called All About The Eyes and their make up artist who I follow on twitter/Instagram was talking about it so I went to have a look. Its all shimmers with one matte. It has a light shadow sort out like a highlight, I have used it as a brow highlight and WOW!

The pallete is really nice and I have nothing like it. I believe that Adam used in for a photo shoot or something on one of the girls and I loved it. Its apart of their collection for collection and was only £2.99! Their range is so good and I love their lipsticks! I own Perrie's but my best friend owns more and they are lovely. (RANGE HERE)
I have found a similar shade which is from MAC. It's their Amber Lights. The little mix shade called Sunkissed is slightly lighter but its pretty much the same. When I tried it on my arm , it was not very pigmented but when I recently done my mums make up for a day/night out and I used the palette. Its was more pigments and creates an amazing smokey eye! (AMBER LIGHTS LINK) For the link you would need to click "Amber Lights" as MAC wont let me link the actual product!
I would recommend checking out their makeup range as it is very good and is amazing priced!
So I know that this is short but I thought that the palette needed a review as I love it!
